Approximately twelve month consultancy package

The Outsiders Play Advocate's "Educational Leader Development & Support Package aims to strategically and incrementally build and grow the knowledge base, and practical capacity to ensure the sustainable implementation of bold Playwork Projects. In contrast to one off PD, this package is a continuous learning experience spanning (at least) a year and builds on theoretical knowledge, front line hands on skills, and the ability to document and advocate for both. The end result of the package is a well rounded Playwork professional seen by their setting as the resident expert.

With over 50 years collective experience working for and with Parents and Citizens and relevant stakeholders The Outsiders teams appreciate the nuances and relationships to ensure a project can succeed.

Each online learning module unpacks some theory, critical reflection and practical application. It is a deeply personal undertaking as opposed to a whole team activity but as such a better developmental experience. Due to this we hope the value to the participant in both knowledge and practice will be significant.

Each participant will have a qualified playworker as a tutor to answer any questions and extend upon their answers and input. Each playworker has extensive experience working on the front line of play so all info comes from practical first hand experience and best practice.
